hi, we have a 3010 and 5020 that use
hydraulic couplers quite often. i figure the spline on the hydr. pump is worn. others tractors we have do not have this problem(4020s and 5020s).
i have cut out the "slits" and gotten more bite. HAS anyone come up with an alternative part
or idea for this situation? thank you

Are you saying it's eating up new cast couplers? What does the balancer look like when spinning? A bad balancer can make the couplers and plastic cushinon bushings wear faster too. Check and or replace balancer or live with it till balancer flys apart and shimming coupler. It shouldn't wear shaft on pump that bad unless couplers just weren't taken care of in past or balancer going bad.
