Could someone please tell me what the head bolts on a 620 LP should be torqued to?

I know the first response of most people is going to be 'buy the books.' I have many of the books - for other tractors. I do not have a 620 book though, and aside from a few specific specs the information is nearly identical. I would appreciate an honest soul willing to help me with this little bit of information.

Thank you in advance!

Lucky for you I had a I&T JD-16 shop manual right here last night still. Yes, you need to purchase one and it covers the 520 to 730 gasoline and all fuel tractors. A different manual is needed for the diesels. Torque for head nuts = 150 ft. lbs. for 620 & 630. Be sure the stud threads are clean, deburr the back side of nuts and use new lead washers from JD under the nuts. Rod bolt torque = 105 ft. lbs. for 620 & 630. More specialty manuals that also get into more detail for power steering, hydraulics, electrical, SM2015 LPG Equipment service and SM2008 JD service manual for 520 are available from JD Publications 800-522-7448 or http://techpubs.deere.com

Thanks Glen for your response, as I said though - I don't feel a book for every tractor is necessary because of the overlap in most things.

I have books for both my 520 and 720, and various letter series. I don't mean to sound disrespectful, and so I sincerely say THANK YOU.

Juniorj, No problem I didn't mind finding that for you one bit. So I take it maybe you have the older sepearate I&T or JD service manuals which many times didn't give some torque specs if any. The latest JD-16 I&T covers 520-730 gas, all fuel & LP.
