I just bought a long frame 38 B running and mostly complete cut offs on rear with orignal 40's tires. I really wanted this tractor and paid $3500 for it most probably more than I should have. I believe it depends on how bad you want something. I have already had enough fun with it to make it worthwile to me and my boys. I have friends who pay this much and don'r enjoy or have near as much fun. Bottom line I guess is what can you live with as far as pricing. HAVE FUN you only have one chance.

On September 9 2006 I bought a short frame 1936 B on full factory rounds in running condition burning oil some on start up in with 4 new firestone in western Pa for $ 4200. I then completely disassembled it reringed it re did head breaks and any thing else that was not up to snuff. The only repro parts on it are gauges and steering wheel and some new NOS parts . If I could figure out how to post a link here I would give you before and after pictures for your price assessment. . I have all receipt for it . It is the caliber of John Ts B and I am in to now after 40 long days of fun restoration $ 7227.00 and would not part with it to some time after $15000 . If you E mail me I can send you pictures there is before and after picture on this boards tractor photos .Do a serch for Malon and you will find them.

It really depends on the restoration job and geographic location. Some places they bring higher than others. In my area if the tractor is restored with good paint, decals, and factory rounds on front and rear, these models are bringing anywhere from $5000 - $7000.
