4650 - stuck differential lock

My differential lock is not returning to the unlock position when I press the brake. The pedal to engage the differential lock does not move at all when I press it down.

Take the cover off of the dash and open the little window on the right side of the cab and look at the linkage it goes past center the wrong way .At least that is what happened to mine and it ended up breaking off the pedal pivot pin . That would be first place to look

next place to check is remove the plunger in the top of the valve and replace the o-ring down inside.Plunger can get dirt in it or rust up so it will hang up on the o-ring.
