Rockshaft housing for a 4040 needed

I have a 4040 that the rockshaft housing is leaking between the swivel fitting and the little pipe plug above it. It appears to be cracked there. I replaced the oring twice before I noticed it was leaking above the swivel fitting. What causes this? The housing from a 4040,4240 & 4440 are the same according to deereparts.com The housing part # is AR74108 and housing with bushings is AR69959. Anyone have a parts tractor that doesn't want an arm and a leg for this housing?

Have you seen them cracked where I"m talking about?
