What guage wire should be used for the lights, switch to starter, and switch to generator connections?
If anyone has a wiring diagram in addition to the the one in the parts book that they could send me, that would be great, too! (51 G - starter, lights, generator, external coil...)

10 or 12 ga. on coil, generator to amp guage, and 14 or 16 ga. on accessories like lights. 1 ga. or larger 0/1 or 0/0 battery cables and not those little cheapy auto supply ones. Wiring diagrams were in the JD SM2029 Electrical Service manual. Contact Ed Tucker about manuals 812-537-4622. If you need just a diagram email me. Also Agri Serv. has wiring harnesses wiringharnesses.com
