What is the main difference between 10 and 20 series John Deere tractors. Are the 10 series as collectable? What are the collectable 10 series tractors?

Collectable 10 series tractors?

I'd look into anything produced in UNDER 2500 numbers is "collectable".

Waterloo 10 series new generation tractors produced in under 2500 quantities are:

3010 Row Crop LPG tractors ---2442 11T

3010 Standard lpg tractors ---103 12T
3010 Standard gas tractors ---493 12T

3010 Row Crop Utility Tractors---gas ---654 14T lpg ---32 14T diesel ---1108 14T

3010 Orchard gas ---19 18T
3010 Orchard diesel ---57 18T

3010 Special Row-Crop Utility (export only) ---118 16T

3010 Industrial ---gas ---192 15T
3010 Industrial ---diesel ---648 15T

3010 Lanz Special Standard (Export only) ---139 17T

4010 Standard LPG ---792 22T
4010 Standard gas ---98 22T

4010 Special Standard (Export) ---35 26T

4010 Hi Crop lpg ---17 23T
4010 Hi crop diesel ---170 23T

4010 Industrial gas ---10 25T
4010 Industrial diesel ---272 25T

5010 Industrial (Offset) ---2007 37T
JD700 ---83 35T

Also, ANY 2510 (not built until AFTER ALL other 10 series cancelled,) and any 8010, are collectable.

Dubuque built 1010 and 2010 tractors may also be "collectable" for some people.

Depends which "10" you're talking about. 1010 and 2010 share just about nothing with the 1020, 2020, or any of the 20 series tractors and they are in a class of their own. But, 2510, 3010, 4010, etc, are close to the same tractors as the newer 2520, 3020, and 4020. In regard to collectibility - I have no idea - but I suspect, if anything the 1010s and 2010s at some point in time might be worth some extra dollars because they are pretty much an oddity when it comes to Deere engineering. Also got a reputation as being one of Deere's biggest mistakes. Kind of like the rep. the Ford Edsel had?
