JD B Pedestal Bushing

The grease hole in the bushing (B101R)at the bottom of the pedestal does not line up with the grease (zerk) hole in the front of the pedestal.

How can I rotate the bushing so the two holes line up. They need to line up so grease can reach the spindle, etc.?

I suspect the bushing was replaced and no attention was given to lining up the holes; hence they are offset. The current location of the bushing doesn't appear to create a problem for the parts at the bottom of the pedestal - except that grease cannot reach the spindle, thrust washer and pivot plate.

Hope your project is going well! Like Mike said, if it's tight pull the grease fitting and drill another hole. It would be hard to remove without distroying it.

That lower bushing should have a couple of tabs that extend down and index with the thrust washer and prevents the thrust washer from rotating. Reason I asked, in a pedestal I picked up those tabs are almost gone. I think someone wasn't paying attention when it was re-assembled at some point in time.
