Wondering if any knows anything about a "power Block" option that I have on a A tractor. Who made it? what did it do for power? Was a water pump part of the option? Any printed info I can get. Thanks John

Hi John, Maybe Duane Larson will answer. He has researched Tractor Supply Power Blocks. I think they recommend a add on waterpump to be used with the Power Block. They also supplied them. Earl

Yeah, I think they also said it should never be used with a Heisler head. Good thing the tractor pullers aren"t doing that with a bigger crank, they could break something...

Sorry, can't help you there, I think they were made in Eastern Iowa somewhere, but they were new castings, not modified Deere ones. I sent you an e-mail.

It was sold by Tractor Supply Co. It was a 6" bore as compared to a 5.5" standard bore. There were 3 different one's made, a 6-1 for ser #'s up to 584,000, 6-2 for 584,000 to 648,000, and 6-3 for 648,000 up and 60's. As far as I know it didn't come with a water pump. The very last A's had a water pump on them, and earlier models could have had them added by using piece parts. I don't have any printed info on them, but wish I did. Mike

It was sold by the old central tractor supply co. should be 10 to 12 more HP.Is the tractor for sell? e-mail is open thanks
