I've been thinking of selling my B. It was restored in 2005. Not Expo Quality, but very nice. New paint, Jorde decals, pistons, valve job, seat, rear tires, manifold, muffler, steering wheel, lights and many other new parts. The gen, carb, govenor and distributor all have been rebuilt. What do you think this would bring at one of the big auctions?? Thanks!

I saw one sell at an auction in Nebraska three weeks ago for exactly $3,200. The guy that bought it is a friend of mine and he wanted it bad. His father purchased it new back in 1952, it got out of the family and he wanted it back.

Depends a lot on the documentation you have and any "in progress" photos you have to back up what you say was done to it. I'm sure you are honest , but some in the past haven't been and buyers don't have to believe you. They can't see inside a "restored" tractor. That being said , going by your description of things you CAN see , I would say the price it will bring will be from $2500 on up to $3500 depending on season , the amount of similar tractors at the sale , and the state of the economy in the area of the sale. May bring a little more if it had some "documented" history behind it also and especially if it was a "one owner" or last one built etc. If everything is good inside the cases , probably $3200. Good luck.
