Thanks a lot for the info guys. I don't think my little tandem axle trailer will cut the mustard. Have to find something a little heavier. It has a loader/w bucket, and a set of weights. Sure fooled me.

Dick:
For what its worth the Tractor Data site indicates that a basic 1010C weighs approx 6900 lbs without a loader.

Bare 1010 crawler shipping weight when new was 6890 lbs. for gas and 6995 for diesel. 1010 with the standard integral 810 loader, a full tank of fuel, and standard weight pack of four in back, weighs a little over 10,250 lbs.

Weighs 9350 lbs. without the rear-mounted couterweights. The weights are just about always installed unless there is some sort of rear attachement instead, so if you have the weight-stack, figure 10,000 lbs.

Today's Featured Article - Fordson Model N: Field Service Operations and Lubrication - by Anthony West. The daily or weekly servicing of any vehicle is of the utmost importance, and in days gone by when our favorite tractors were doing an important and Commercially vital job on the farm, these service operations would make a major difference to the running costs and economy of the farm. This being so, it surprises me to see how many enthusiasts attending rallies, shows etc, seem to be unaware of the importance of this constant attention. Possibly the modern machine with its 6,000 mile or even once ... [Read Article]
