My cousin has just restored a 1941 John Deere Model B. It runs great and has a completely new paint job. He doen't want to sell it, but ask if I could find out it's approx. Value. Thanks in advance.

A fella showed me a B on Saturday that he has $3000 in. He said he'd take less, but not much less. I think it would take a very special B to be worth 1500 wich is my main problem with both the A and the B. You can buy them right, fix em right and have no prayer of getting your money out of them, to say nothing of putting a value on your time. And there is nothing wrong with either tractor except that there are to many of them availible. Just my thoughts, Mike

Mike is right. You can put a tub load of money in them and you will not get your money back out. The only way I can say I can get my money back is to show them for a while and get your money back only by the pleasure of the shows and parades. I have an old 29 D that I have around $6,000 into it and I know I will never see it back in money valve. So it is up to the person as to what it is worth to them. The market is full of A's and B's

around here it would bring $300-$600 unless it has new tires. No value can really be stated, because values are different all over.
