Had a break in tillage work and watched Bridge's last nite. The first time I saw it when it came out I caught a few machinery errors. First error in the film was the "Soundguard" cab that appeared in 1965 time frame. But last nite noticed the round baler it pulled. My question is did JD make a round baler in 1965. Also toward then end Richard lifted a dry bag of feed out of the back of the open pu bed after driving home from Winterset in a pouring rain. I know I need more work to do, but I have always enjoyed the movied but being a farmer I did catch a few errors.

My wife and i got married this past June in Iowa, and honeymooned all over in Iowa. One of the many things we did was to go to see all 5 bridges of Madison county. We also had dinner in the restaurant that was used in the movie. I also remember seeing the tractor and thinking it was not of the time.

In Spartucus which is set in Roman times. Tony Curtus is wearinfg a wristwatch in one scene. Also I was watching a movie the other night and one charactor who was single was wearing a wedding band. TV is full of errors all the time also.

Movie 'Bonnie and Clyde' late 1930s shows B and C and the pudgy guy stopped alongside a hay field....of big round bales.

Cant remember the movie but there was a JD D at a race track. It was a hand start but the actor put his hand by the hood and pulled a switch and it started up with a 4 cylinder sound.

They missed the boat not using the authentic D sound.

I am not sure but in "Band of Brothers" I think I saw an IH H setting somewhere in France. Could have been but not likely. Maybe a really progressive farmer.

You ought to be a USAF Armament Sys Spec and watch any movie with fighters. In the Flight of the Black Angel, the guy fires several missiles off the same rail. Top Gun and any of the Iron Eagle movies were full of em too. I try not to pay attention (lest it ruin a good movie) but sometimes they get through. Aaron

Ever hear of the Swamp Foxes? I was in life support in the 157th Fighter Squadron from '94-'98. If you know anything about them, then you know how I got the username "MACE"

Aaron,
What jets, when and where did you load? I'm still in, back from Korea and stationed stateside. Another good movie is "Clear and Present Danger" when they drop the GBU-12 off the F-18 on the drug cartel's meeting. First time I ever saw of what an inert munition can do.
