What can a person expect to pay for a good JD 420/430 power steering pump, like this one listed on Ebay?

As indicated, parts are probably still available for the rebuild of those pumps. I did mine maybe three years ago. Be a heck of a lot better than a crap shoot on ebay.

Thanks for the reply Henry. I went to my local JD store and they said that the ring/rotor/vane kit that I need for my pump is no longer available. In reading past posts on this subject, several people state that the parts for this pump are made of "unobtainium". JD still supplies all of the gaskets and seals but that really doesn't do me any good. If you happen to know if the ring/rotor/vane kit is available somewhere, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks again for your thoughts on this matter.

Don't know if there is any truth to it but an old guy told me one time that those were the same pumps used on chevy trucks and cars in the late 50' early 60's. May take it apart and check it to a rebuild kit for one of these other pumps. I know they look the same on the outside. Good luck
