I have a 1964 2010. Hydraulics stopped working, so I drained the Trans. 0il and removed the filter.Filter has a lot of chips of paint from inside trans. PS and 3 Point stopped working, so must have paint in pump and lines too. So now, how to clean it out? Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance

Thanks guys for the reply. Got my work cut out for me for Saturday. When I got the tractor three years ago they told me the trans. oil had never been changed. So I changed the oil and cleaned the metal filter and put in new oil (not valvoline) I will wotk on it and do what has to be done. Thanks again, and wish me luck!!!

That's why you don't want to use the cheap or wrong hyd. oils not recommended. You may find brake material in oil as well. Flushing isn't going to be fun either and some things may need to be disassembled and top off trans to be sure you got it clean. Use some solvent or diesel to help flush it out and then flush again with a bit of fresh oil before putting in all new filters. Probably a sump sceen on hyd. pump too that will need to be cleaned or replaced.
