Does anyone have a problem with the 5200 Clutch not releasing. I adjusted the clutch pedal free travel either way with no luck. Sometimes I have
to turn the tractor off to get it out of gear. Would I have to take the tractor apart to solve the problem?

If the tractor had been setting for a whjile, it's not all that uncommom for any dry clutch to stick, especially in wet weather. When you put it into storage, like overwinter, it's a good idea to block or tie the clutch pedal down. Sometimes, when they stick and this is the cause, it can be popped loose, and you won't have to split the tractor.

On the other hand, if you've been using it regularly, that's likely not the problem. There was a problem of wearing of the splines on the clutch shaft causing them to disengage hard or not at all. Perhaps that's the problem with yours. Deere may have had a program to fix that. Check with your local JD dealer. You might find some help with the problem. Yes, the tractor would have to be split.
