A T could have a fixed tricycle double narrow front, single front tire, rollo-matic double narrow front, a wide adjustable front.

I spose some one could have ordered a bunch of them and had them painted yellow.

As stated the wide front was an option on the T

There were 2188 T's produced

First thing I would do is explore and see what is under the yellow.

I looked under the outer layer of green and found the next layer was yellow and under that was the first layer of yellow, under that is metal. This tractor was owned by a local city so I'm assuming they painted it hwy yellow over the first layer of yellow then someone after them painted it green. So I dont know if we should paint it the better looking Green and yellow or the origional yellow Thank's Julia

You might want to contact the Two-Cylinder Club and have a serial number search done on your tractor. It's possible they could tell you if your tractor was originally painted yellow. If it turns out to be an original yellow tractor, it'll be worth more if you paint it the original color.

I used to think the T stood for tricycle front, then I found out that MTs could be wide front also, think they wer like an M but higher off the ground. I suspect that is the same with a 420 T with wide front. I think someone could order these in different colors for industrial type work.

The wide front was an option for the tricycle model.

An all yellow 420T would be very unusual, but not impossible.
