Does it run with about the same power on vapor as it does liquid? If so, that would point me towards a restriction in the liquid line form the tank to the converter. Sounds like you're just running out of fuel. When they run short on air it seemed to me I could smell the excess fuel more than normal.

I sure agree with MSD about the air cleaner could be plugged up. You may need to remove the grill, hood and/or air cleaner assembly and give it a good bath. For more extensive LPG trouble shooting & LP systems repair see the I&T JD-16 shop manual for JD 520-730 LPG, gasoline & all-fuel tractors or the JD SM2015 LP Gas Equipment service manual.

Check the top of the air cleaner. If you have mud daubers (sp), they will close the entire opening off in time. Bought a 730 LP that did the same thing as yours. The darn things had it about plugged solid.

730-LP -- Go to the JD-H Restoration Site, and then one-click on T-S LP-Gas Tractors. Allow the document to come up and perhaps you will see something that will help. (PatB)
