If you believe Tractordata's production information to be accurate concerning John Deere tractors, I've got some oceanfront property in Arizona I'd like to talk to you about. Unless someone goes through over 200,000 4020 tractors one serial number at a time, it's likely we'll never know exactly how many 4020's of any fuel type were built with power shift transmissions. But, as a general rule, on 4020's you can figure that somewhere between 1/4 and 1/3 of the gasoline and LP-Gas tractors were built with power shift transmissions. The percentages are higher on 4020 diesels, but the numbers are so high as to be more or less meaningless.

Side Console or earlier? The Two Cylinder Club sells the production register with all that info.
