Guys, I'm in pain when my 4020 duals start spinning on one side in the low ground I farm. Is there a differential lock available for this tractor so all tires always turn; was it factory installed or an aftermarket. How much to install it if an aftermarket. Thanks!

I find the differential lock in my 4020 handy to keep it from hopping from right to left wheel and back while disking in plowed ground.

Look for a little pedal at the right front of the driver's seat, on the deck. If its there, you HAVE differential lock. Turn it off by tapping a brake pedal.

It was factory and is a fair sized job to install in a equipped shop.On all the tractors I added options to, there is a place for it you just have to add parts. The hardest part is adding the clutch disks to the side of the ring gear carrier, the ring gear has to come out.

I'm looking to buy a 4020 soon. I don't have much first-hand knowledge about repair but I've read that there was a factory differential lock available. Hopefully I will find one reasonably priced.

I've owned 2 4020's and 2 3020's and they all had the factory hydraulically engaged diff. lock.
