I found several old John Deere horse drawn single row binders on the old family farm, and I would like to know something about them before they are hauled off for scrap. A copy of the original operator's manual would be verrrry helpful. I would really like to do something with them besides watch them rust away. Any source for replacement parts?

Isn't there some kind of warning about this running in the classifieds. I don't know who's doing it, I thought it was somebody from YT.

JohnG where are you located at? Dont scrap them if you do not want them let me know I may be interested if it is not too far of a drive. I do not have any source for parts, but I have started collecting old horse drawn equipment.

James, the binders are outside of Corpus Christi. Since they are close to the Gulf, they are covered with rust, but I do not think it is too bad. I would restore them if I had more info about them. I think there are three of them, along with some other horse drawn implements. If you email me with your address, I could send you some pictures of the stuff. It is pretty much all for sale.
