Is the pin at the front of the draw bar(under gear case) hard to knock out. Is this just a big rivot? I would like to make the draw bar shorter. Do I just knock the pin out and replace with the correct diameter bolt. Thanks in advance!

When I was using the stock drawbar I turned the drawbar over where the bend was facing up for heighth and shoved all the way in.I then marked the spot where I needed a hole and drilled it.That one hole produces lots of shavings(thick piece of steel)when drilling.I had a D ring made to bolt on the top of the drawbar for the hook to drop in instead of a clevis but could remove it easily for drawbar work.

I think if you get under there and look, you will see it is just a pin that will lift right out with your fingers when you turn it the correct way. I haven't looked at mine too close yet, but there may even be a predrilled hole to shorten the shaft using the same pin.
