try marlyn smith in iowa at 712-489-2570. nice guy to deal with. he works for a trucking co and might get it to you pretty quick. i'm in n al so i don't know what he has on hand, but anything i ever needed for my 48b he had. good luck. haste makes waste by the way.

If you need one that fast try polks. I would think they have one. Where do you live? In northern Indiana there is a pretty big bone yard with a lot of row crop -B-s and -A-s in there.

Well it depends on how bad you want it. THey have, you don't.

What's wrong with yours? There's not a lot to go wrong that can't be fixed, unless it has a wallowed out thrust bearing area behind the mag.

If you have good gears then that worn housing is an easy fix. Two ways to do them 1 way I think is in the I & T book you cut some off the spring and coupling and put an extra bearing center race in for a spacer and move everything over to a new spot. The other one I have also used is to remachine the housing to accept a bushing. anyone with a milling machine should be able to do it for you. I'm willing to bet most all of the used ones are going to need fixed too.

Most of the governors I see these days require boring out and a sleeve inserted, and then bored to final dimension to make them servicable again. Not a tough job, but it can get pricey real fast if your machine shop is long on the set up time.
