find someone to help you turn up the pumps then just shift up 1 gear if traction becomes a problem. when someones tractor spins out in high gear then they have a traction problem. until then the problem is NEED MORE POWER.

I would rather casually putt into one of the top three winners with a tractor that doesn't appear to be straining. That really ticks off the pullers with souped tractors that don't pull any farther.

i guees i should ask is there a better way to keep my 80 on the ground... i have 18.4-34 on it and it weighs 9980... with me in the seat... i want it to smoke black longer than it dose it only does if the tires spin but that is it...

You can't stall it in 1st creeper gear even in the 12,000lb class on a power track. 1st gear standard should be good to 10,000lb except on the stickiest of tracks. There are three things to worry about before HP. Traction, traction and traction.

What size tires are you running? You probably won't run out of power, you will just spin out. HP isn't everything. Of course it is nice to bore, stroke, port polish the heads and turn up the pumps, but it is all vain if you can't get the power to the ground.
