Thanks, I Tried The Load And Idle Test And Did Not Kill Tractor, Took It Apart Again And Pulled Fuel Nozzle Cleaned And Lots Of Crud & Rust Inside Of Carb Housing Next To Nozzle. Blew Out Bowl Vent, Seems OK, I'll Try It In The Morning, It's 12 AM Here. Thanks For Telling Me About That Site.

does it hunt rabbits or squirels? i just think that sometimes its best to get a good laugh at a problem. i know this may not be funny to you, but a sense of humor when you've got problems always helped me get through it. good luck. you'll like the site recommended.

Gene -- 'Sounds like a classic case of a plugged segment in the IDLE pathway of your carburetor. There is a no-wrench test you can perform to determine whether or not either of the IDLE or LOAD paths are clogged.

Go to the JD-H Restoration Site listed below, then on the left side, click on CARBURETORS. Allow the PDF document to come up, then go to page 7 and look for the section entitled, Testing -- LOAD and IDLE Pathways. Post the results back here and we take it from there, (PatB)
