Just picked one of these girls seem very sound, I plan on using it on my farm, I have changed oil in the pony and engine and lubed according to ownersm anual. The question I have is about the rear axels do you remove those bottom plugs to grease them if you do how much and how often? Is their any quirks I should look for? thank you

Animal,
I hve one of those that I use. I grease the rear bearings every spring, about 6 shots of grease. That is what we did when that was the main tractor that my dad used for farming in the late 50's. Never had any problems with that tractor as far as I can remember. I even took tractor as a 4-H project one year and that was the tractor I chose. I remember it burned 1.1 gallons of fuel per cylinder per hour pulling a 12 foot chisel plow. Bud
