The correct JD wheel weight bolts are 2-3/4" x 5/8" square head bolts with a serated shoulder that drives into the wheel or weight and stays in place. They work nice but they are rather expensive. The last time I bought any they were around $4.50 each. Other parts have gone up in the last year so I imagine they have as well. You can get regular square head bolts from you JD dealer for just over $1.25 each. They will work fine if you intend to put the weights on and leave them on. If you remove or add weights with any frequency, the weight bolts are the ticket as they make the job a lot easier.

You could always use regular square heads and JB weld them into the weights.

I just had to remove some weights for a pull. First time I have hade them apart. All bolts were 3 inch. When you add another weight the bolts go in the previous monted wieght. Make shure you use square head bolts. Previous owner used regular bolts, and they were a pain to get off.
