I have a clutch lever - part no. B2782R. which was on my 1939 "B" at the time I purchased it.

However, I cannot, nor can the parts dept. at my JD dealer, locate the part number and identify the tractor with which it is associated. It may or may not be correct as the parts manual lists the lever as AB264R but that number includes the lever and bushing.

Ken, are you sure it isn't B2732R? That number comes up in my obsolete part number index for a B series tractor. Mike

I should have read my parts book some more! I see that the number I mentioned isn't even close to a clutch lever. I just saw this number in the list and "assumed" too much. Sorry for that. Mike

Ken,
Where do you find the part number on your lever? Is it stamped or cast in?

Duane:

The number is stamped in on the lever about 7 inches from the top.

I have a new one with part No. of AB 264R. I can not
find that No. in master parts book or my parts manuals.

B2782R is clearly stamped on the clutch lever.

Perhaps we have a mystery to solve.

Ken
