Does anyone have a good wiring diagram of the 435? Especially for the gauges and behind the dash. We owned this tractor from 1964 to 1987 when it was sold with some property in Michigan. I bought the tractor back last year, but they had someone rewire it and now the gauges are all messed up. The hourmeter now works off the ignition only, not controlled by the pressure switch. Water temp is erratic, but I hooked a mechanical gauge up to check and the actual temp is fine. I have the original JD operator's manual and the two IT manuals, but they don't show a very good diagram at all. Please help!

Glen, It looks like this thread brings up the same points, that there is not a good wiring diagram for the 435 in the manuals. Do you know if any of these manuals has a decent diagram? All of the manuals I have looked through are very basic, not like an automotive manual that has the detail I need. Thanks

The 440 wiring diagram is shown well in the SM2029 electrical manual but it is with a 4 terminal regulator. I'm not sure what kind of regulators came on the 435. The SM2029 shows no specs at all for the 435. The Field Service Bulletin that Duane mentioned may show a better diagram for just the 435 but I don't have that. Contact Duane or see if your JD dealer service manager has something like the SM2029 with 440 diagram or the FSB diagram. If you just need the 440 diagram let me know.

If one is found, I would also like to have a copy.

Thanks
