I recently bought a used one, had a flat tire on the right rear on the third cutting and removed it to get it fixed. I put the wheel back on, started the mover and put it in gear but it would not move. No gears at all; forward or reverse. I checked the manual, saw all the belt diagrams and verified the belts are on the mower. Mower starts fine, blade engages fine, it just doesn't go.... Oh yeah, the brake doesn not work any longer; foot or parking brake....Any ideas?

Does the axle turn inside the wheel hub? There is usually a rectangular key that fits between the rear wheel and the axle that connects them. See if you have the key installed. If you have a hydrostatic model check you did not disengage the hydro and failed to reengage it. I suspect it is the key in the axle. It would help if you listed model number etc. Good luck

Is this a lawn mower you mean? What brand and model is it? Some of those have a lever or rod you pull to put them in neutral so you can push them or two them around, did that get thrown by chance? The ones I have seen are usually on the rear axle, check that area of your mower.
