I am looking at a 2755 tractor
right brake when first step on brake , pedal travels nearly out of sight but if you pump pedeal comes up and holds well-- there is a valve under the pedal assembly -- is the valve bad?
Does this sound serious or expensive? Tach not working -- are they cable operated ?
what is usually wrong and is it serious?

Brakes.. Its probably just the brake valve.. can be rebuilt.. or replaced... The tach's Electronic on that tractor... Usually its in the dash... bad connection.. usually the solder as broke in the dash... I noticed Dad's comes and goes on his 2950... Not a bad tractor.. hard on clutches.. (mainly if used for loader work..) JDGnut

Clutch is ok on loader tractors as long as the operator isn't lazy. Some won't shift down from transport speed and they just slip the clutch when loading or inching up to thier destination.
