332/330 Model Confusion

I just bought what I thought to be a "332" Garden Tractor:

1. It has the Yanmar 3TN66UJ Diesel engine

2. it has the decals and "Diesel" badge (though they are easy to put on any 300-series tractor)

3. And here is the rub: the I.D. plate on the side of the engine cover reads: "Serial No: M00330X361xxx"
I always thought that the numbers on the sticker should start with "M00 332... ", not "M00 330..."?

Neither the serial number sequence fits into what I read about the years the 332 machines where made, nor does the sticker (which is genuine and original, as far as I can tell)

Question: what other I.D.s or features may be on my tractor to help me identify what model I own?

Best regards, JM

I agree with the other post, 330 had no power steering, single hydraulics, similar to the 316, where as the 332 had the dual hydraulics and the power steering similiar to the 318. Just a note, the 322 and 332 were the same, except the 322 was gas.

The 332 has dual or independent brakes where the 330 didn't. I'm not 100% sure on these, but I think the 330 didn't have power steering or dual hydraulics either.

Essentially a 332 is a 318 with the yanmar diesel motor.

I can confirm the 330 doesn't have dual hydrolics or power steering, as I have one sitting in the garage for sale. I'm trying to figure out if its a 13 hp or 18 hp diesel. When I bought it there wasn't a manual with it. It was well kept by the original owner and I've continued the care and maintenance of it. I'm a little sad to sell it, but I need the money and I no longer have the land to mow.
