Put carb kit in, now fills cylinders with gas.
what went wrong?

my b use to do that too. it only done it right after i just got through changing the oil. i'd have to drain it all out and start over. you might need to change yours too, because it doesn't take much gas to dilute the oil in the crankcase.

Needle seat not shutting off for some reason? Crud in fuel plugging needle seat? You should shut the sediment bowl off anyway when not using. Makes sure the area the needle seat and gasket goes against is not pitted out letting it leak around seat and seals good there. See if float is bent or wrong one and rubs against bowl hanging up and not traveling freely. Check float to see if it has fuel inside it by shaking. New floats are available or if you are good at soldering you can repair your old one sometimes. Check for holes by holding float with pliers in a pan of hot water (not boiling) and watch for air bubbles spewing out of the hole.
