I have a 5103 with a front end loader and need to add some rear wheel weights to off-set a loaded bucket. Will weights from any other make or model tractor fit my 5103? New weights from JD are somewhat expensive. Thanks for any input.

Get some weight in the rear tires. Windshield washer fluid, calcium cloride,or the new stuff called rim guard made from beet pulp. You may still need to add more weight too. Your owners manual will tell how much is needed to be safe with that loader.

Leon,
Im not a nig fan of using fluid in the rear wheels as it is hard on the rims. You could build a weight bracket to mount on the back and adapt some other weights to use with it. We did this with a 6400 that was light in the rear. Good luck,

I've heard of people putting anti freeze/water in the rear tires for additional weight/traction. I don't know personally how well that works
