Hello;

My father-in-law just gave me his mid-1980s John Deere 650 tractor, with the two-cylinder 14.5-horsepower diesel engine, along with several accessories: a front end loader, scraper, and a couple other things. I've been trying to find out what, if any, other accessories are available and can can be used with this tractor, such as a power auger or ditch witch. But it seems there are a bunch of John Deere models called 650, so it's almost impossible to find anything specific for this one. Can anyone here offer any knowledge or point me in the right direction? I've sent an email to the company but haven't heard back. Thanks very much.

i've been told by a ford dealer that you have to have a hydrostatic drive tractor to run a ditch witch attachment
