I WANT TO PUT A HIGH AMP (55AMP) ALTERNATOR ON MY 2010, AND RACKING MY BRAIN HOW TO IT. MY BIG CONCERN IS THE STARTER, WHETHER IT'LL SPIN THE WRONG WAY..... .NOTHING ELSE MATTERS, COIL LEADS
CAN BE REVERSED,AS WELL AS BATT. CABLES,LIGHT BULBS DON'T CARE ABOUT POLARITY. VOLTAGE REG. IS
BUILT INTO THE G.M. ALTERNATOR.
HAS ANY ONE DONE THIS CONVERSION????? ????? ?????

Mark, Robert's right. This converson has been done so many times. Check archives on how to do it. Tractor board goes into extensive detail. The starter will work even better and I've never heard of one spinning backward or burning up because of the conversion. Moye
