A few weeks/months ago there was a thread re: Tractor related things to do/see in NE IA & So. WI. We are planning to go to the Two Cyl. Expo in Amana & have the liberty of having extra time to see other interesting stuff. I tried a search but could not come up w/ it. We will be driving from Central WI. Would some of you NE IA natives care to give a little thumbnail of things to see & do? We went to the JD reunion in Moline last year & really enjoyed. Thank you all in advance! KB

Here is the factory tour# 1-800-765-9588-Dawn.
Best wishes. We are headed for Amana on June 15th. Plan on taking in the Amana Colonies themselves. Safe trip.

Ken,
If you are coming to Amana, you're likely going to drive from Dubuque, Iowa on Highway 20 to just East of Waterloo and then South toward Amana on I380.

If so, you will be very close to Deere tractor factory in Waterloo. They have free tours daily. We've been there and really enjoyed it. Our tour guide was a retired assembly line worker...really did a nice job.

You can even call the factory and make a reservation.

K
