Could someone explain the differences between the 730 row crop and the standard. I know the standard had different size rubber on the rear, different gear ratios and a fixed non ajdjustable front axle and rear fenders. Outside of this, what are the differences and what makes one preferable to the other. What advantages compared to each other did each have. I had a 730D row crop and considering purchasing another 730D. Do I want a standard or a row crop? Thanks in advance...

I think you pretty well hit most of the differences in the row-crop and standard models. The adjustable front axles were available on the standards though. Also, you could get the standards with a 3 point. I guess you could say the row-crops were meant for bedding and cultivating and the standard was used more for just a pulling tractor in the wheat farming areas. The standards are sometimes referred to as the "Wheatland" models. I hope this helps some. Shorty Dear

I agree with shorty deere. It all depends on what you are going to use it for. I have a row crop 730de that I use for farming.
