510 clutch help

I'm having the clutch rebuilt on one of our 510's (Mannaheim built, 3 cyl diesel). This is a two stage clutch for live PTO. The clutch is rather strange. It does not use the flywheel as a contact surface for the cluch plates. The tractor is at my cousin's shop and the clutch removed and sent to Westrans in Winnipeg to be rebuilt.

Westrans told my cousin that the "hard" parts for the clutch need replacing and they can't find parts. JD shows the parts as obsolete. Local wrecker has a clutch for sale, but it needs to be rebuilt too. We might be able to make one out of the two. If not anyone know of a Canadian wrecker that might have a 510 to get a clutch from or a clutch place that might have odd ball clutch parts.

Thanks

John

I had a clutch disk refaced with new friction material. The local auto jobber shop sent it to some shop somewhere in Toronto.

Westrans has the material to reface and will easily do that. They refer to this as the "soft" part. They are looking for springs and other "hard" parts.
