My 47 D is missing the pan seat..which seat should it have? the 9 hole seat, or a later style? thanks, josh

My 48 D has a powertrol hydrolic and has a later style square seat with cushion mounted on that. Is this common? I don't know if this is dealer modified or farmer modified.

Only seen the larger pan 3 hole seats on styled Ds around here and most are original. Think it just depends on what JD had on hand at certain times as to which seats with different holes were used on styled Ds.
