Just a word on that baler...

If you have not, be sure to check the short pins on the lower pickup that have a cotterpin in each end.. They can wear the cotterpins off and start to work out and cause the pickup to catch and even break the sprocket on the second feed because of it.. I found that ours had some working out on the side nearest the center of the baler...it had broken several sprockets before I found the problem. We Loved that model baler and put tons (litteraly) of wire through it every year... They store in such a Small space, when the tensions are stored and the pickup is centered..!! I still have some springs, pins and one pickup shoe here..(Mom's baler box)..!!! Let us know where you find a source of wire... Ron..

This is from a post on the implement alley board from a month or so ago. I can't vouch for it's accuracy, but it wouldn't hurt to give them a call.
