How many of you are using a reserved handle? When I started following this website many years ago, I used my real first name. Then later someone else had reserved it. So I had to think up something else and then reserve that. No big deal, but I was slow on the uptake!

My handle name was Mark. Next thing you knew there were a dozen Mark's and some said things that I didn't say and I got the blame.....course I said a lot of things too; some of which I am not proud.

Anyhew I changed to something else and registered it.

Now I get blamed for what I say and baby, I do.

Mark

So, why didn't you continue to use your name, but add a "1" or a "2", or your state initials, or whatever? Then, Kim's 'puter (I think) would have allowed you to reserve that specific "handle"?

For example, somebody chewed me out when the reserve handle thingy was set up, for using "Bob". I had been posting for YEARS with that handle, and figured I had as much right to use it as anyone else. (First come, first served!)

Any other Bob, I would think, could reserve Bob1, BobND (which I use on some other boards on the 'net) or about any other letter combination that someone has not already registered, if they so choose.

Mine has been reserved. I thought I reserved it awhile back. I was never sure that I did it right. Then there was a post about reserve handles, I did it that way and it worked.

I started using this website about 1&1/2 years ago and just reserved my name this week. I don't ad much but usually have many questions.
