32 D block and head trouble

cylinders rusted really bad way to deep for oversize. should i sleeve it or replace it which is going to be easier to do and for how much? Head is also really bad, checing out now if rebuildable. Anyone know where if needed to find a head and block?

Justin, They can be sleeved or bored if you can find the oversize pistons. I keep hearing some sizes aren't available new right now but they are suppose to have oversizes in .045, .090, .125, & .250 for the D. You didn't say what condition your pistons were in or if usable yet. If you decide to sleeve ask if they have done JD 2 cylinders before and can give references. Heard of too many sleeve jobs not done right on those big blocks lately. Not knowing where you are at there are many salvage yards with used parts, www.adeptr.com (parts) and D parts in this area of TX and wheat growing plains areas. The block and head off a 1931 to 53 D are the same if that helps. Many other D parts will interchange also.
