looking for a john deere part for my father

I am looking for a flywheel from a "late 60's 12 or 14 hp tecumseh motor from a John Deere lawn tractor", he called it "an overhead valve 140/generator-starter". Any Ideas where I could start my search or even who I could contact for more information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

After talking more with my father the motor in question is a tecumseh 140 OHV off from a John Deere 110. Sorry about the confusion as all I could give you was what my dad gave me.

It sounds to me like there has been some engine swapping. It would be best to post the numbers off of the engine.

I'm not sure what you mean by "140", but a Deere 140 never used a Tecumseh engine, or ANY OHV engine, for that matter, from the factory.

While certain 110's or 112's used Tecumsehs, I don't recall that they were the OHV models, but I could be wrong.
