anybody know where i can get one of them filter doohikies that goes under the oil fill cap on a jd b i think it keeps the oil from coming out the breather looks alot like a brillo pad

That would be the breather element. Let us know what year and type of B you have as all may not be the same. You might try the classifieds section too. I sold alot of my stuff off to a fellow named Ron in Norwalk Ohio he may have some left. He runs ads on there from time to time.
