Hopefully this picture comes through. Anyway this is my currant project and what I have to work with. Ive broke it down to this point and still need to remove the stuck Ledger plate. Now that I have most of my replacement parts Im going to sand blast it this weekend. Not knowing anything about these the best thing I did was to get an original operator?parts manual on Ebay, OM-H100-1047. Hope this helps someone. Ill post more as I go.

Hi Jonesy,
If you need any parts let me know. I have lots of cutter bar parts, like guards, etc. Have a couple of the rods that hold the bar in upright position, with original factory threaded nut fastener. Good luck.

There's a ledger plate on every guard on there. Which one is stuck?

Joe,

Looks like a fun project and the #5 is a great mower. I mow 40 acres of grass hay every year with mine, have never had a problem. I need to replace the seal on the pitman shaft in the box this year. I paid $50 for it and just unloaded it off the trailer and started mowing. I mowed 5 years without any problems. Maybe after I get my Farmall M painted the mower will be next.
