You didn't say if diesel or gas..Diesel- could be shut off solenoid inside of pump. Could be internal wear inside the injector pump that grows larger with engine heat, causing internal leaks , causing no start situation.. If gas- solenoid on carburetor sticking , points or condencer problem . Is the tractor trying to start against the hydraulic pump..The pump will put a strain on the starter and battery causing a poor start. When the engine is turning , the hydraulic pump is trying to build pressure..If this sounds like your problem , Turn the steering wheel back and forth to relieve pump drag...There should be a " T " handle on the front cover of the hydraulic pump [ right on top of front cover ]. Turn the tee handle clockwise till you feel resistance, then turn an additional turn. This will put the pump out of stroke , and allow for easier starting. I hope I was able to help, Your description was kind of vague.. Roy
