Just removed a duplex carb from a 1959 630 gas Gen Purpose and the numbers stamped on the carb are DLTX 106 (have encountered this a number of times before),which identifies in the parts book correct carb for the 630 Gen Purpose and Standard tractors. The DLTX 94 carb was used on the 620 gas tractors yet when you review part numbers for for both carbs all internals are the same for the 94 and 106. Can anyone update me on what the difference is between these two carbs if anything. Appreciate any feedback on this. Thanks. Ellis

I think the main diff. would be the 2 fixed jets. The gasoline uses R10128 the all fuel uses R10131. I think the nozzle might be different also. I don't have the numbers for them.I know the 60 gas & all fuel use different nozzle. Earl In Illinois

Sorry for the spelling error: should be carburetor with an "e" not "a".
That's what happens when you combine haste and neglect spell-check. Ellis

After reading your post the second time and looking in my Deere carb manual # SM 2024. It list the DLTX 94 as the correct gas carb & the DLTX 97 as the correct all fuel carb. I think the DLTX 106 might be a universal replacement carb.Which more than likely would be a gas carb.Sometimes I need to slow down & read the post. Earl

Yes, Y'all have it right on the DLTX 94 & 97 and those also went on the 620. I didn't see the 106 mentioned in the SM2024 either but info I have from a Marvel Schebler / Zenith carb book shows the DLTX-106 was used only on later gasoline 630 and was JD part # AR10085R. Shows to have the same needle or jet as the 94 but I could be wrong. The later DLTX-109u was the universal duplex carb replacement for 50-730 tractors and DLTX-107u & DLTX-108u being the single bore carb replacements for other Waterloo 2 cylinders. Duane Larson probably has more info on other differences or jet changes. I just don't see that many 20 & 30 series on gas here.
