I recently purchased a 420 hicrop and when I attempted to take it on the road in 4th gear, at about half throttle the wheels and steering column shook causing the tractor to go back and forth very quickly. I examined the wheels in the shop and they are 3/4 of an inch wider in the back as the front( distance between the wheels) which should be correct but the tractor continues to shake on the road. I firmly shook both wheels both on the ground and jacked up to see if maybe the wheel bearing was out but both feel stiff suggesting no problems there. I was wondering if anybody who owns a hicrop or other tractor could offer up some suggestions on how to fix this problem. Should I straighten the front wheels so that they have the same distance between them? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Jack the front wheels off the ground after removing the nosecone/grill. There is a set screw and lock nut on the top of the steering box. Keep cranking that set screw down until the steering gets stiff and binds some in a few spots. Take her for a test run and it maybe better.
