Mine came yesterday. I was a bit surprised that there weren't more letters protesting the HUGH amount of advertising in the previous issue. Maybe they got letters of protest but didn't print them. I didn't care for all that advertising at once. Some is nice but as the old story says about the farmer feeding his cows, if only one cow came to the hay bunk, he wouldn't feed her the whole load!

welcome to the hobby. the nov-dec issue was in celebration of 21 years of the magazine and was entirely about old advertising throughout the years of 2 cyl tractors.

Old stuff to the ones who read the adds when first published. Adds were new to most. I just reupped the subscription and asked 2 cyl to place in the future issues the first years news letters. The ones on ebay are a bit pricey. The US mail is up side down at the present time. It all pays the same no matter the pace. When the supervisors service the employees rather hard handed orders the flow will return. Never order anything that you yourself had done or not would do. Top down direction breeds the though of if I do nothing I can not get in trouble. So wait for the direction of the day. Soap box removed for the day.

I agree with you that the reprinted ads were too much in the last issue! Even though I enjoyed reading all of them, I was very disappointed that some of my favorite sections were left out. How can you really enjoy a 2 Cylinder magazine without the letters, commentary, or at least a small tech article?? Just my opinion.

I think that issue will become highly desireable for that reason in that it traces all the historical ads from the beginning to the end of the 2 cyl era.

It was a great idea and it helps trace the evolution of the 2 cyl concept

Sure they were interesting. The first time. I have no desire to reread that issue, it has no useful information for reference. And Jan-Feb was on combines. Hopefully Mar-Apr will have some TRACTOR stuff in it.
